Who are we?
We are two Wedding photographers specializing in Destination Weddings and Elopement.
We are Silvia and Alex, and we chose each other in life as in work. Marrymi was born by mixing our personalities and inclinations. Together we complement each other, capturing different details of the same reality, perceiving each nuance in a complementary way, balancing attention to detail and technical precision with instinct and empathy.
Our vocation is to tell stories through our eyes. Our goal is to create timeless images that have the value of the most precious memories to cherish.
How do we work?
Our style is documentary: we love to create poetic and evocative images through careful use of natural light and thoughtful (balanced) composition. We love to capture emotions and spontaneous gestures capable of telling the essence of our subjects.
We seek authenticity as a key word in our work: evocative, unscripted scenes, perfectly imperfect in their beauty. We train ourselves to search the reality around us for those small but powerful details full of intense meanings.
We draw inspiration from everything we like: (because beauty is everywhere, you just have to know how to see it.) Art-house cinema and classical art influence our daily way of photographing and observing the reality around us.
What do we like?
We love to travel and follow our couples wherever they take us. We love to learn about different cultures and traditions, evocative places and atmospheres to bring them to life through our images. We like to let every experience we have, every person we meet enrich us on a personal level.
We prefer to shoot intimate weddings, with a small number of guests, in unconventional locations and ceremonies in the middle of nature. We like couples madly in love and thinking outside the box, attention to detail, contrasts between light and shadow, natural textures. We prefer places dominated by nature, unexplored and wild, such as the vast Scottish meadows and northern cliffs.
What characterizes us?
An informal and relaxed, yet warm and welcoming tone. An intimate, deep and somewhat melancholic touch. We prefer the magic of natural light, staying true to the atmospheres we experience.
We like to be discreet and remain behind the scenes without ever being intrusive: a delicate presence, respectful discretion and a gentle but skillful and profound observation come together to tell about you, as human beings. That is why we love to work in tune with our couples and believe that it is a mutual choosing, liking and sharing the same sensibility.
Besides being photographers we are many other things: we are nature walks, we are the time spent with our horses, we are the evenings with our friends, we are the cinema in the evening, the music we listen to, but we like to think that we are always becoming something new, also thanks to you.

They were unique, dynamic, nice, celebrated with us and stole special shots. When we saw our album and video we got excited because we felt like we were reliving every moment of our wedding, they managed to capture the magic of that day in a spontaneous way, the colors sensational... magazine-like!

Alex and Silvia are great people, as well as being true professionals. We got married on a rainy day in July and were very concerned about how our story would look in photos. Despite our expectations, thanks to their attention, attention to detail, and mastery of light, we even got outdoor shots. Looking back at the album now, all that remains is the memory of that day filled with joy, light and love (those who were not there can hardly believe it was raining). Choosing photographers for such an important day means first of all choosing people to whom you can entrust some of the most important memories of your life. Alex and Silvia were our people of memories that day.
