CEREMONY Ancient Church of San Martino | MUSIC The Weddingers (live music + Irish dancing)

Franziska and Conor have combined traditions and cultures. She from Austria and he from Ireland have lived in northern Switzerland for years, and they decided to get married in the Sienese town of Monteriggioni, in the smooth green hills of Tuscany. They shared this journey with close friends, enjoying a two-day long event with a Welcome party at the relais Castel Bigozzi. A medieval castle dating back to the year 1000 nestled in the Chianti region, where guests enjoyed an all-Italian dinner of excellent Pizza baked in an ancient wood-fired oven, Tuscan wine and Moretti Beer to enliven the evening. In the same Location they celebrated their wedding day. After an emotional ceremony in the ancient church of San Martino di Strove, based on songs and poems, a beautiful late summer sunset accompanied them during a rich aperitif. The olive grove of the Bigotti relais then hosted a dinner with a beautiful imperial table expertly decorated and lit by many candles, making the atmosphere even warmer and more relaxing. The beautiful live music of The Weddingers, allowed guests to have fun and go wild in typical Irish dances mixed with cheerful Italian ditties, thus creating a blend of different cultures. It was a beautiful wedding full of customs and traditions that found their place in the joy and smiles of all the guests.
